A very special story (for feeding tube awareness week)

Published on 12th Feb 2013 by Renata

I have broken my prolonged silence (more on that soon) to share a very special video in honour of feeding tube awareness week. I would be forever grateful if you could find a minute to share it, as ultimately the more people that watch it, the further the message can travel.

Liked that? Try one of these...

Just love that last pic! Hadn’t realised how much he looks like his older brother when he was younger. Makes sense though, you’ve all got the same cute smile πŸ™‚

    1. RenataB says:
      14th Feb 2013 at 11:35 am

@StephsTwoGirls They all do look remarkably similar it’s true. I actually think Dominic looks just like his sister, certainly when Lilia used to put clips in his hair the resemblance was uncanny (she was still in denial that he was born with a willy) πŸ˜‰

      1. RenataBplus3 says:
        12th Feb 2013 at 11:30 pm

@stephc007 yes must have a chinwag about it. Should we put another coffee date in the diary?

        1. stephc007 says:
          12th Feb 2013 at 11:35 pm

@RenataBplus3 that’d be lovely. Know Jenny still keen on the curry idea too…! Coffee easiest for me 130-230 Mon-Wed or else some Th/Fri s.

        2. stephc007 says:
          14th Feb 2013 at 11:01 am

@stephc007 Anytime after half term probably. I think I am possibly more flexible than you, so throw some dates at me (will message you now)

        4. stephc007 says:

@RenataBplus3 fab. will you come here? or else we could meet somewhere near my school and I wouldn’t be in a rush to leave at 230…

I love you you incredible wonderful woman and beautiful Mummy. My turn to ask you to marry me! I waited to give this my full attention and I’m glad I did. I have tears and I recall hating seeing the tube on Natty’s face and only taking photos with it off. It is a big deal and you deal with it perfectly.

        14th Feb 2013 at 10:43 am

@RenataBplus3 such a good way to raise awareness

        1. RenataBplus3 says:
          14th Feb 2013 at 10:46 am

@BritMums people tend to be too polite to ask questions, but demystifying things +vely is normally the best way of gaining understanding

        2. RenataBplus3 says:
          14th Feb 2013 at 10:47 am

@BritMums (I don’t find the ‘no one understands us’ approach does anything but alienate people more)
